Practices beginning May 28 are every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning - beginning at 0600 and ending 0800. (Remember to arrive 15 minutes early.) The qualification ceremony will be on June 22, 2019. We have a quota of 10, 8 males and 2 females. Camp departure date is July 24. Camp officially begins at Camp Pendleton July 25. Graduation date is August 3, also at Camp Pendleton.
Devil Pups is a non-profit organization designed to help teens 14-17 from all backgrounds gain self-confidence and learn to take responsibility for their actions. People wonder “Why the name Devil Pups?” The term “Devil Dogs” was used by German soldiers to describe Marines fighting in World War I. The Marines who organized this youth citizenship program chose the term “Devil Pups” to describe the quality of teen who can complete this program.

May 25 Practice
Devil Pup Candidates: Next Saturday, May 25, is the next training session. This session will include a PFT - very important that you attend this training session. 1st Sgt's assignment: bring a copy of "Attitude" by Charles Swindoll, with your name written on the copy. Get some rest on Friday so you can perform well on Saturday.
After Saturday the 25th (and after the Memorial Holiday), we will begin training three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings. The first Tuesday will be May 28, the day after Memorial Day.
On the 28th, training will begin at 0600 (0545) and go to 0800. Please note this change. This earlier time will continue until departure for camp.

When: 0700-1300 Saturday to set up, assist and tear down rummage sale tables
