Devil Pups is a non-profit organization designed to help teens 14-17 from all backgrounds gain self-confidence and learn to take responsibility for their actions. People wonder “Why the name Devil Pups?” The term “Devil Dogs” was used by German soldiers to describe Marines fighting in World War I. The Marines who organized this youth citizenship program chose the term “Devil Pups” to describe the quality of teen who can complete this program.

Assistant SoUtah Devil Pup Liaison Rep
We are so proud to announce the acceptance of Corporal Bryce Lewis to assist Col. Toole with the SoUtah Devil Pup program.
As most of
you know, Bryce was our stellar 2007 Devil Pup, taking the top honor for his
increment. Bryce then joined the Marine Corps, was Series Honor Man at
his boot camp graduation, was wounded in Afghanistan, awarded a Purple Heart
and has agreed to assist with SoUtah Devil Pups – until such time as he hopes to re-enlist
with the Corps at completion of Officers Basic Training.
